Wayne, Jim, Bob, Mike and Bill make up The Tensions who for several months have been active in benefits throughout the city. The group started out originally as a trio with Bob Zajko, Wayne Ripper and Mike Clucas. Then last September, they added Jim Coulter on drums and a few months later, Bill Bondar on guitar. Some of their appearances included a benefit for St. Marks Foundation for Retarded Children and the Queen of Peace Christmas party for orphan children. The group also played for West Catholic sports night. They announced their availability for any similar benefits.

Bill Bondar, a recent West grad is the senior member of the group at 18 years, is employed as an IBM Computer Operator with the Treasury Department. He also is a racing car fan and likes all kinds of electrical work.

Bob Zajko, a 16-year-old sophomore at West excels in athletics and plays on West Catholics squad. He also lists weight lifting and body-building among his interests.

Mike Clucas, a 15-year-old sophomore at West has a keen ear for music - he serves as arranger for the Tensions, and also is very interested in racing and musical instruments.

Jimmy C, a 15 year old junior at John Bartram, Jim Coulters interest is music all the way - he has won awards for musical presentations he has participated in; and also likes to dance.

Wayne Ripper, a 15-year-old sophomore at West, boasts a swinging record collection and also is interested in coin collecting and weight lifting.
